These terms cover the use of this website. Client work is governed by a separate written agreement, which always takes precedence.
1. About this site
This website is operated by Northstar Digital, a web design and digital solutions business based in Ontario, Canada.

2. Using this site
You may browse this site and use the contact form for legitimate business enquiries. You may not:
- Attempt to gain unauthorised access to the site or its owner area.
- Submit automated, bulk or misleading enquiries.
- Scrape, mirror or republish the content of this site commercially.
- Upload or transmit anything unlawful, abusive or malicious.
We may block access, or delete submitted data, if we believe these rules have been broken.
3. Prices and examples
Website packages start at $199 CAD (Starter), $399 CAD (Business) and $699 CAD (Premium). These are starting prices, not fixed offers. Your final price depends on scope and becomes binding only when it appears in a written scope that we both accept. Prices are in Canadian dollars, and applicable taxes, if any, are shown separately on your quote.
The projects shown in our portfolio are design concepts produced by us, not client work, and we make no claim of results for them.
4. Payment, delivery, changes and cancellation
We do not take payment through this website. The written scope for your project states the price, the payment schedule, the delivery date, the number of revision rounds included, and what happens if either side cancels. It also states what is refundable at each stage.
If you want to change the scope, we price the change and ask for your approval before doing the work. If you want to cancel, email us and we will follow the cancellation terms in the written scope. Nothing in these terms limits your rights under the Consumer Protection Act, 2002 (Ontario) or any other law that applies to you.
5. Content you submit
When you send an enquiry you keep ownership of what you wrote. You give us permission to store it, read it and reply to it. You confirm that you have the right to send it, and that it does not infringe anyone else's rights.
6. Intellectual property
The text, design and code of this site belong to Northstar Digital. You may quote it with attribution and link to it. Nothing here grants you a licence to resell it.
In client projects, you own the website we build for you, including its code, copy and design, once you have paid in full. Third-party fonts, images or plugins remain under their own licences, and we tell you before using them.
7. Third-party links
This site may link to other websites. We do not control them and we are not responsible for their content or their privacy practices. A link does not imply endorsement.
8. Availability
We aim to keep this site running at all times, but we do not guarantee availability. Maintenance, network faults and forces outside our control can interrupt service. We are not liable for loss arising from downtime or a link on this site failing.
9. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Northstar Digital is not liable for any indirect or consequential loss arising from your use of this site or your reliance on its content. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited.
10. Personal information
How we handle the information you send us is set out in the privacy notice, which forms part of these terms.
11. Changes
We may update these terms. The version on this page is the version that applies, and the date below shows when it last changed.
12. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada that apply in it.
